Susan Taylor, Manager & Buyer for the Golf Shop
Susan begins her 5th season as Golf Shop Manager at Westchester Country Club after serving in the same a capacity for 11 seasons at three area clubs. Susan’s responsibilities for the golf outings include:
- Assisting the committee in selecting their tournament prizes from either our stock or by ordering from one of our vendors;
- Presenting the outing with options for favors for their participants; and
- Coordinating any Golf Shop related needs the outing may have.

Chris Bland, Outing Coordinator
Chris is beginning his 3rd season at Westchester Country Club. Chris’ outing related responsibilities include:
- Communicating with outing committee to identify any pre-tournament questions (either on-site or phone meeting);
- Based on data received from committee, develop a field sheet, scorecards, bag tags, and other related material needed for event day execution;
- Manage desk on outing day with sufficient staff to keep guests moving on to registration desk; and
- Summarize results and deliver to outing committee for announcements.

Bobby Collins, Starter/Caddymaster
Bobby begins his 19th season as Westchester Country Club Caddymaster. Bob’s outing related responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with Chris Bland so that he has sufficient carts and caddies for the group per their pre-tournament requests (4 week lead time for additional carts);
- Event day set up of field with bags, carts and caddys ready for tee off prior to shotgun (or tee time) start;
- Make necessary staging announcements such as Rules of the Day, Cart Rules, Caddying Tipping policy, etc.; and
- At days end insure caddys are compensated and all records transferred to WCC Accounting Dept.

John Kennedy, Director of Golf
A golf professional for the past 36 seasons, John came to Westchester in 1991. He had served as an assistant professional at Royal Poinciana, Silver Spring, and Sleepy Hollow.
John served as Director of Golf at Cold Spring Country Club in Cold Spring Harbor, L.I. from 1981 to 1990. John’s greatest passion, as a professional, has always been education for his students, his staff, his fellow professionals and for himself.
John’s involvement led him to a position on the MET PGA Board of Directors from 1983 through 1992, where he served as Chairman of Education, Membership and Merchandising at various times. John’s involvement and quest for improvement, which he credits for any success he has achieved, culminated in his selection in 1997 as MET PGA Professional of the Year. |
