John Kennedy

John Kennedy, Director of Golf

A golf professional for the past 36 seasons, John came to Westchester in 1991. He had served as an assistant professional at Royal Poinciana, Silver Spring, and Sleepy Hollow.

John served as Director of Golf at Cold Spring Country Club in Cold Spring Harbor, L.I. from 1981 to 1990. John’s greatest passion, as a professional, has always been education for his students, his staff, his fellow professionals and for himself.

John’s involvement led him to a position on the MET PGA Board of Directors from 1983 through 1992, where he served as Chairman of Education, Membership and Merchandising at various times. John’s involvement and quest for improvement, which he credits for any success he has achieved, culminated in his selection in 1997 as MET PGA Professional of the Year.
